Requirements/Notes:
* Much easier to look for the BST on chocobo first.
Target mob:
Master: Goblin Pathfinder
Pet: Goblin's Dragonfly
Pet Level Range: 23-25
Approximate HP: 170-220hp
* Fly
* Links by Sound
* Weak against Piercing weapons
* Weak against Ice
* Strong against Wind
Other aggressive mobs:
* Goblins (Sight)
* Sabertooth Tiger (Sight)
Other linking mobs:
* May Fly (Sound)
Commentarus:
One thing about Beastmen mobs in the three areas surrounding Jeuno- the area in which they can roam about in is extremely large, as big as two whole squares sometimes. Thus, the positions above are rather rough, and it would do your sanity good to take a chocobo from Upper Jeuno first to look for the mob.
Once you've found the mob, you will need to literally stalk it as it walks all over Batallia Downs until it calls another pet, which unfortunately, may feel like longer than normal.
Thankfully, both camps don't really have much in the way of linking mobs, unless you really stray to the far west. However, there is a lot of surrounding aggro that you need to be aware of.
The undulating terrain of Batallia Downs doesn't really help you in this department, although you can use it to your advantage as due to the mob AI, mobs may take some rather strange routes to get to you.
