Commentarus:
Snippers and Damselflies mark the second stage of the leveling grind through the Valkurm Dunes. They are also particularly important to level off, because they drop the Crab Apron and Damselfly Worm that is used in the subjob quest at Selbina.

There are many camps available, so feel free to explore and choose one that is open. Bear in mind that if you camp at the shore, there may be another party, although if they are focusing on the harder Beach Pugils and Goblins, the two parties can share the same spot (and the beaches are rather spacious anyway).

The two campspots at the Valkurm Dunes Outpost, and outside Selbina are also generally lacking in Snippers, so people just focus on Damselflies here. Like earlier with Hill Lizards, it is advised to set your homepoint in Selbina, so in the event of a death, the member can simply homepoint and quickly rejoin the party.

One thing to note though, if you are partying on Whitebone Sands, is that the Damselflies in the area are placeholders for a Fly NM, the Valkurm Emperor, which drops the highly sought-after Empress Hairpin, and as such, higher-level hunters may be in the area killing any Damselflies.
